My 986 with my options from the factory had an MSRP of about $62K in 2000....

I bought it last year with 51K miles for $14K. Talk about serious depreciation.

Talking about Caddys and Lincolns here is like talking about "wonderful BOSE audio" on a car forum.....

I'm seriously considering a one of those or a Z3.

My Miata has a hot cam so it produces around 175hp(around 40 more than factory. The motor in 4/5 will spin freely to 7000, before 3 and 4 lost oomph around 5700), but torque didn't go up...much. What it did do...instead of hitting a brick wall at 115(just shy of 6000rpm. Unlimited straight would, eventually, see a bit over 120...but 0-115 was easy) it will reach 142(just past redline, fuel cutoff is 7250).

The Miata will hit 300,000 miles next year. It is getting "flexy" and time for a new(fun) ride.
