Hello. I have checked out the 'How To Use The New Search Engine' sticky (https://www.hometheaterforum.com/community/threads/how-to-use-the-new-search-engine.351818/). Maybe I'm a little dumb, but I can't seem to find a way to use the search engine to search for a specific phrase. For example, how would I go about making a search for 'a door was opened'? I mean the complete sentence, all those words, in that order. When I put quotes in the beginning and end of the phrase I wanted to search, the search just returned messages that had any of those words. I wanted to search for the complete thing; for example, 'a door was opened'. Not just 'a', 'door', 'was' nor 'opened', but instead all of those words together in that order.

I ran the search on "a door was opened" and only got two returns -- your post and a post by Robert Harris that was actually 'a door was opening'

no quotations got 3700 hits
single quotation ' a door was opened ' got 3700 (with or without the spaces)
double quotations " a door was opened" got 2 hits
