Need opinions on speaker set (1 Viewer)

I'm looking at some Elite Audio towers,they are EA-1620's and the guy wants 500 for the pair,anyone have any opinions or hands on with these?Thanks for any advice.

Elite Audio are white van speakers, avoid these cheaply made Chinese speakers. Do a Google search for: "elite audio" + "white van"

Thank you,that's kinda what I figured but wasn't quite sure,I'm just getting into HT now and it's mind boggling the number of sets are out there.

Here are some reputable speaker brands I would recommend: Paradigm, B&W, Monitor Audio, Axiom, PSB, Klipsch, Polk, JBL. On your budget you may be able to find Paradigm Monitor 7's, which are excellent for home theatre.
