need help with a pioneer vsx-922 (1 Viewer)

Hi!


this is my first post in this forum, im looking forward to your answers.


as the topic says, i have a pioneer vsx-922,im using a 5.1 system. i find it hard to get the settings as i want them,


The biggest problem right now is that, for example, when i watch a DTS movie, everything works good, the subwoofer(active) works and gives a good kick to the movie.


But when i listen to music i cant get the sub to work, the pioneer goes in to stereo mode, but the sub wont work.


i have tried alot of settings, but i cant get the sub to work in stereo mode,


do you have any suggestions?

The two main things that keep a subwoofer from working are using Pure Direct with an analog source and having the front speakers set to Large in the speaker setup menu. Try those two things and report back .
