Need Help on Avia Disc? (1 Viewer)

I just got the Avia disc. And it say to Caliberate you speakers at 85DB I did that on my Pioneer Elite VSX35 as I set the master vloume to 0DB and when I did, the pink noise was loud and I thought I blew out my speakers will this hurt my speakers. I have energy take 5 speakers.

Were you using a SPL meter and if so was the reading at 85db? I usually calibrate at 75db which is plenty loud for me. I don't really think it matters in the long run, as long as all the speakers are playing at the same level. You could calibrate them even lower if you're worried about damage.
