MX-500 controling volume on Denon issue. (1 Viewer)

I have a Home Theater Master MX-500 remote which is programed for my Denon AVR-2106 receivers. However, in order to adjust the volume, I have to rapidly press the vol. up or down to get it to where I want, instead of just holding the button down and it rapidly changing on its own. Is there a way to fix this? I programmed it by the learning feature, not the Denon pre-programmed codes.

Try relearning but vary how long you press the key on the original remote. e.g. try holding it down for a full second instead of just a brief press.

Yup, that did it. holding the button down longer when sending the command to be learned was the trick. Thanks.
