Well, it's easy when the photos are right in your face, but when you're remembering a show that is almost 20 years old, I can see why someone would confuse the two.

Daisy Fuentes indeed got her start on MTV, but it was as a "veejay," not on Remote Control, like Kari Wuher, Adam Sandler and Colin Quinn.

Fuentes was originally a veejay on the Spanish version of MTV that aired in various Latin American markets, but then her hotness necessitated a move to the "mother ship," so to speak...

My main memory of Daisy Fuentes is the time she was on a stage with Mark Messier after he helped the (dastardly) Rangers win the Stanley Cup, and she told the crowd to settle down when they went crazy for him, as though she had no idea what was going on.
