MGM has shown a willingness to release PD titles when it fits in with other titles in their library (e.g., Roger Corman's Bucket of Blood).

I had forgot about that title. INVASION OF THE BEE GIRLS is another one I forgot about, although the MGM disc is cut while the PD is uncut but open matte.

I would kill for a double feature of Witchfinder General and Master of the World!

Great news on Last Man On Earth tho! :emoji_thumbsup:

I'll try to find a complete list but off the top of my head:

BLOOD OF DRACULA
THE WEREWOLF
I WAS A TEENAGE WEREWOLF
I WAS A TEENAGE FRANKENSTEIN
HOW TO MAKE A MONSTER

They might also own other Arkoff films, which were released overseas. This collection started a couple years ago but have yet to hit R1. Other titles in this include: COOL AND THE CRAZY, UNDEAD, IT CONQUERED THE WORLD, DAY THE WORLD ENDED and others.

They also own around ten Hammer films but I can't remember which ones. Joe could probably fill in some of the titles.

Oops, my bad. I forgot WHEN A STRANGER CALLS already got a release (the late 1970s/early 1980s phone-related slasher flicks blur together in my mind). Sorry Rex.

True, Bill McA. I was using IMDB to help me be fairly complete with the genre stuff I haven't seen yet, saw Sutton Roley credited as co-director, and thought: TV movie. Figured the movie poster shown on the CHOSEN SURVIVORS entry was from a foreign theatrical showing, as was done with true TV movies like DUEL (1971) and SPECTRE (1977). Of course, Benny Hill has taught us that when you assume... ;)

Did anyone buy THIS DISC released by Image Ent. before it went OOP? I notice it has the exact same two titles as the upcoming "Midnite Movies Double Feature" ("Panic" & "Last Man").

That's the old Laserdisc double feature. It came out in the last days of the format, and quickly became a collector's item.

A sex scene is shortened. The scene is intact on the old Embassy VHS.

The co-feature on the DVD, INVASION OF THE STAR CREATURES, is also an edited version. The TV prints feature at least 6 minutes more footage, but I am unsure if the extra scenes were part of the theatrical release or added later for TV.

You can get the uncut INVASION OF THE BEE GIRLS on various PD labels. It's on a Brentwood 4-movie set but it's under a different title, which I can't remember right now.. It was also released as part of a double feature by Catcom.
