MGM Classics, I'm still looking to be released soon, though MGM might not still own them, are:

THE AMERICANIZATION OF EMILY (1964)

A THOUSAND CLOWNS (1965)

THE DEVIL'S DISCIPLE (1959)

THE HOSPITAL (1971) which was part of their "Contemporary

Classics Series"

and

SERGEANT YORK (1941)

KILLER PARTY, NOTHING LASTS FOREVER, SERGEANT YORK, and

THE AMERICANIZATION OF EMILY are all owned by Turner & Warner Bros, NOT MGM.

NIGHT OF THE LEPUS is owned by Warner, and there really needs to be a petition aimed at them to get it out.

Here's a list of 1970s cult classics I'd love to see MGM put out:

BLOOD AND LACE

VAMPIRE CIRCUS

TWINS OF EVIL

OLD DRACULA

TOWN THAT DREADED SUNDOWN

RETURN OF COUNT YORGA

LOVE AT FIRST BITE

MADHOUSE (1974)

THE INCREDIBLE TWO-HEADED TRANSPLANT

TENTACLES

INVASION OF THE BEE GIRLS

CANNIBAL GIRLS

THE BAT PEOPLE

FOOD OF THE GODS

BOBBY JO AND THE OUTLAW

LITTLE CIGARS

BLOODY MAMA

BLACULA

SCREAM BLACULA SCREAM

SUGAR HILL

THE LAND THAT TIME FORGOT

"Red Sonja", "Cruising", "Misunderstood" and "The Wind And The Lion" are all owned by WB through purchases of the Turner and (in "Cruising"'s case) Lorimar libraries.

Sincerely,

John Kilduff...

TCM's website is always of assistance in these matters.

MGM, Please consider releasing your Cult/Drive-In classic from 1978, starring Mark Hamill and Annie Potts:

BURN WITCH BURN would do it for me. Hell, the movie's been out as a "Midnight Movie" on MGM VHS for years!

Bad news, ErikG...

"Corvette Summer" is a Warner title now as well. I must admit, I'd like to see it (I'm somewhat of an Annie Potts fan...Enough to have done a page on the Artisan title "Pass The Ammo" for the 80's Movies Rewind.)

Sincerely,

John Kilduff...

Why doesn't Warner Brothers just buy MGM and bring the entire library back together?
