Not where I’m watching except for the episodes that were shot on tape instead of film.

I saw snippets of a couple of episodes and saw that too. I haven't checked Decades TZ marathon but if they don't have the soap opera effect, I'll leave my TV on Decades in solidarity.

I saw Mr. Dingle, The Strong and The Rip Van Winkle Caper (neither of which were shot on tape) and they both had the soap opera effect.

I saw it using the NBC app. The commercials don't have that problem.

Before I knew what this effect was I was confused, thinking I had somehow misremembered episodes from the video season as filmed episodes. I hate the effect.

Six were shot on tape. The Lateness Of The Hour, The Night Of The Meek, The Whole Truth, Twenty-Two, Static, and Long Distance Call.

Correction. I didn’t notice you were watching on syfy. I’m watching on Decades.

Yes, I caught a brief glimpse of my favorite, Death Ship, after midnight, and I saw one of those glitches. This, however, was on Decades.

it's also on tubi.tv,they don't have much commercials.just plays the whole episodes.
