Marantz vp-12s3 v. Infocus 7205 (1 Viewer)

I am deciding on a projector for my first HT. The Marantz vp-12s3 and the Infocus 7205 are two of the projectors I am considering. Would appreciate some advice, I'm new at this stuff and the information out there is enough to drive you crazy. Thanks.

I am also interested in an HD2+ machine, but want a long thrown (diag 106” at greater than 16’). Screenplay does this but for the Marantz it will cost an additional 5k (long throw version). Many people in these forums are trying to make a nice HT with a DLP/LCD machine costing one tenth of the two systems you mentioned and would say that if your only problem is trying to choose between these two HD2+ systems, your really can’t go wrong with either. In reading posts, it seems that most agree the Marantz is built more sturdily, and is only a few k more.
