Is the LFE on the original DTS DVD release defective like JP? I noticed that DVDangle was re-reviewing the dvd and thought maybe the LFE is defective on this disc also. Abybody know? Thanks.

It may very well be, however DTS only complained to Universal about the first one. I doubt Universal will bend over backwards to fix Lost World as they were so sneaky about Jurassic Park's correction.

There was never any official comment about the LFE track being in error on the LW dts disk. In any case, the LFE level is much more than the old JP dts DVD was.

Was there any final word on Lost World DTS DVD having a low or defective LFE channel? The bass sounds pretty weak to my ears.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I couldn't find an answer using the search function so I thought I'd revive this one.
