I have a RP56 now, but want to run it through my Denon 3801 to my Mitsu 65907. Since the Denon has only one component out and that is also servicing my HDTV receiver and the Mitsu itself will not do scaling through that input, I want to look for a player with internal scaling.
I know the 91 had it, but are there any - reasonably priced - players that offer it now?
TIA

The Toshiba 3800/4800 and the JVC FA600BK/FA900BK both scale. All of these players can be had for less than $200.

Correction, the Toshiba 3800/4800 scales and the JVC XV-SA600BK/XV-FA900BK zooms. I've played around with both and the Toshiba looks a good deal better on non-anamorphic widescreen material on a 16x9 set.

I have Tosh 4800 and the scaling is pretty darn good.

The chroma bug can sometimes be quite obvious on my 57" XBR RPTV with this player though... (To me anyway.)
