lg dvd burner - any good? (1 Viewer)

Any comments on LG's multiformat DVD burner?

LG Electronics DVD+/-RW Mulitformat Drive, MOdel GSA-4081B

This is around $150. Around that price what are other good ones to look into?


What's the best software (under WinXP) for DVD mastering (assume all video and other data is prepared in other applications)?

The Sony 510 is good, as is the Pioneer 06a, and the Plextor 708a (though it's pricey). The Liteon 411S/451S is a good bargain burner (I have both Liteon models and no complaints).

Nero 6.x is what I use. I tried the bundled MySonicDVD software, and it wasn't was flexible or intuitive to use. Others will suggest Roxio's Easy CD/DVD Creator 6.x.
