Hey all I have a setup question.

I currently own a Pioneer SC-82 receiver with klipsch towers surround and woofer and a samsung tv. I noticed today when watching a movie I wasn't getting the booming shakes from the woofer.. i started to investigate that and now have lost video to the tv but still have audio.

Will appreciate all help!

my ears have not liked horn tweeters since the beginning. i believe horns belong on cars not speakers. with that said, your ears will enjoy whatever your budget can afford :) my vote is for the polks with a separate sub since they are not very strong in the sub area.

After having 2 onkyo receivers, I tried Yamaha. I ended up returning it and going with denon. I love my denon receiver!!

I would go with Polk speakers, which I would have now but I ended up with nht because I thought they sounded much better.

Have you heard nht speakers? I have their bookshelf and center channel speakers.

Good luck!
