I am interested in buying a new TV for my progressive scan dvd player. The TV model I have come down to is JVC AV-21LX2. The product information says that it has "...DVD Progressive Baseband Input. TV can receive the full 31.5Hz 525-line horizontal resolution DVD signal to produce a 100% high-density picture when connected to DVD player with progressive baseband output"
Does this mean that this TV can show a progressive scan picture when connected to a progressive scan DVD player. JVC does seem to have this picture even on bigger TVs. I am a bit confused but I suspect this a pseudo claim made to make the TV look like progressive scan. What do you'll think.
The URL is below. Please help.....
