I'm considering purchasing this model, floorstanding speakers. Has anyone heard or tested this particular model? again model JBL S412PII, 4way, 12inch driver with built-in amp. Also, Infinity IL60? Thanks for the input.:frowning:

The 412II series are large alright. I seem to remember about 100 lbs of big. I did audition them (at Best Cry) and for the money you might want to go with something else. I liked the IL60's much more. But, if you like them the what the heck!
btw my current front's are the ND310's

Thanks for the input, have you tested the IL60...how does it sound compared to the JBL?

I recommend going out and auditioning speakers yourself. To give you a general idea of what I'd try and listen to would be brands such as b&w, energy, paradigm, and klipsch.

The JBL floor standing models didn't seem worth it when compared to the sound of their S38s and S26 bookshelf models.

Yep!!!! 38's are a good value if you have a great sub.
