I'm considering purchasing this model, floorstanding speakers. Has anyone heard or tested this particular model? again model JBL S412PII, 4way, 12inch driver with built-in amp. Also, Infinity IL60? Thanks for the input.[IMG]

    Aris,
The 412II series are large alright. I seem to remember about 100 lbs of big. I did audition them (at Best Cry) and for the money you might want to go with something else. I liked the IL60's much more. But, if you like them the what the heck!
btw my current front's are the ND310's[IMG]

I recommend going out and auditioning speakers yourself. To give you a general idea of what I'd try and listen to would be brands such as b&w, energy, paradigm, and klipsch.

The JBL floor standing models didn't seem worth it when compared to the sound of their S38s and S26 bookshelf models.
