JBL LX44 - i am told that this was an excellent speaker at the time.Does someone know about this model?
I want front speakers for HT.I am not sure if i should spend for older models.Can someone help?

This is just an advertisement i came across.I am not buying speakers from them.

I have a pair of JBL LXE990 which I use for the "mains" along with an S-CenterII and S36II surrounds. The old LXE990's sound just fine.

I have a pair of S99s in my attic (well 2 lefts or rights - niether is powered). They sound pretty good too. Probably ought to sell them but I'm too lazy for Ebay. They weigh a ton.
