Woke up this morning to the first snow of the season - cold, blowing snow, whirling through the halo of the street lights.

So of course had to dig out my Trans Siberian Orchestra CD ("Christmas and Other Stories") to listen on my 25-minute commute to work.

My wife and daughters hate it, but I LOVE it - always crank it when listening, and not just the one track everyone knows from radio. These guys hit a soft spot for me - grandiose arena rock with more than a tinge of hair metal influence!

i think i've heard these guys before, but not sure. what track is the one they play on the radio? isn't it really "opera-ish"???
