I'm excited to see how they do this, I've read three different scripts and all of them were terrible. As a huge fan of 80s slasher films I can't help but be hopeful that something great will come of this.

While I'll certainly see it whatever the reviews say, I wouldn't advise anyone to hold their breath for something great. Slasher sequals=garbage. The very nature of the material prevents this from beging anything other than a repetitive, derivative slaughter-fest, just as it should be.
