I agree that this season is not as good. I liked the first 2 seasons of the show because of the "off beat" humor and shear craziness. But this season it has gone to far with that stuff. It is like they are doing stuff for shock value instead of laughs.

I did think that setting dee on fire was pretty funny. Them getting mad because she threw the box of kittens down got a chuckle.

I just hope the laughs improve as the season goes along. I really want this show to remain on the air. I think it is a great change of pace from the network comedies.

The end is what sold it.
and it was great to have the return of BOTH the Tranny and Mac's mom
Second to the best of this season.

Episode Sweet Dee Dates a Retarded Person was good.

I liked the beginning how Dee delivered the line "There's no way I'm dating a retarded person" and then the opening titles came up. Great transition.

I really didn't care for the retarded person story. I was enjoying Charlie's Nightman song.
I also loved how Charlie wrote out the lyrics in hieroglyphic type of symbols

Next weeks is great. VERY funny.

I thought this episode was the best of the season so far (not counting the serial killer one which was internet only until this Thursday). Definitely a throwback to the first two seasons.

Excellent episode. One of the best in a long time. I loved everything about it. The guy who played the rapper got it just right; I know people from Philly that talk like that, and at any given point it could have gone either way with him being retarded.
Charlie being a savant was also great. I loved that "Night Man" was fully developed song and then once Mac pointed out the sexual implication it became outright hilarious.

Charlie: Hey, don't do that! That's my good chair.

Mac: Your good chair? It's got bird shit on it!

Charlie: It's not bird shit, it's tooth paste

Mac: Do you even own a tooth brush?

Charlie: [silence]

Charlie and the spraycan and the silver paint, "Day Man", the hotel room... Holy shit, I was just dying the entire episode.

The Dennis looks like a Registered Sex Offender episode was fantastic.

I loved how Frank got Charlie's mom to be his bang maid.
Charlie calling and selling his mom as a whore to Mac's dad

Charlie STILL wearing the Saved by the Bell Bayside Tigers shirt.

The real sex offender saying how he's watching the Disney Channel then winking at the kid Dennis and Dee brought over.

Wondering if they are going to use Mac's dad trying to kill him as an episode for season 4

and it really makes me wonder how in the hell and for reasons why Macs dad and mom EVER got together.

Which was tons of fun.
Dee and Charlie go back on drugs
Rickety Cricket makes a great return.

love it how Dee and Charlie made him a drug runner and addict, and pin the blame on him for sleeping with the mob boss' wife.

It's sad that the season is just about done.
One more episode I think(next week)

Well,
Season 1 was only 7 episodes
Season 2 was 10 episodes
and season 3 is 13 episodes(with an hour long one)

showing two at a time for the first half of the season makes it go by quicker.

At least they gave us 3 more than last year(or 4 if you count the hour long episode)

lets just hope there is a season 4, or doesn't get held up due to the strike.
Which shouldn't be a problem, as Season 4 wouldn't even start till about next May or so

Bums: Making a Mess All Over the City

was funny. Not the best. but still fun.

I loved Charlie's rant in the police station, acting like Serpico and trying to figure out what the blue seal flag was.

Strapping an entire large tape recorder to his chest and the microphone mini stand out in front of him.

Dee, Mac and Dennis staring at the masturbating bum.

and my favorite part when Charlie leaves the tape in the envelope titled "4 the mare"(meaning to write for the Mayor)

His Pacino impression was great. I was afraid it was just for a scene and he would stop doing it aftewards, but was so glad to see it last for the entire show.

Charlie was great. I thought Dee and Dennis were overboard with the cruelty this week. Beating the shit out of the masterbating bum was a bit too much for me as was the petty theft on the street.

My favorite part of the episode, other than the aforementioned "4 the Mare", was the cold open with the guy jerking off. When they yell at him, he looks up with the biggest shiteating grin as if to say "I know, this is really great, right?"

Great season finale last night! Charlie's line about the cream of an eighth grade boy was just about the funniest line all season. Mac's karate dance moves were hilarious as well.

I don't think it was a great way to end the season.
Not many laughs.

But glad they brought back Rickety Cricket to get revenge.
Also really glad they brought back the waitress that Charlie is in love with.

My favorite part is when Mac and Charlie are dancing together and Mac complains about Charlie's body odor and lice problem.
And Charlie confessing about his testicle washing every Friday
