This is in a dorm room, so you know the drill. I will primarily use this system to play CDs, sometimes SACDs..
Do you think I need a bass? I know it needs to be sealed, what do you recommend?

Kenny, welcome to the Forum. That's a nice system for a dorm room or otherwise. While I have not listened to Axiom speakers, I have read good things about them. Also, I just bought a 'CE775 for $200, and it is quite good for the money. Build quality could be better, but it was only $200. As for the need for more bass, only you can decide that. The need for more bass partially comes down to inherent equipment limitations, but it is also a function of personal preference. You could always try a subwoofer. For $150, the Sony SA-WM40 12" subwoofer comes highly recommended. Of course, if you can spend more, there are better-regarded subwoofers out there. Also, you might find the 'WM40 to be a bit large for a dorm room (too large a footprint and too bassy for a small room), and there are quality smaller subwoofers out there such as the Energy e:XL-S8 8" subwoofer.
