inxs.com can reveal that plans are moving forward for a late 2003 re-release of the classic INXS concert film Live Baby Live as a special DVD set. Originally released on video and laser disc in 1991 - and for a short time in 2001 as a single disc DVD in certain territories - this spectacular production is long overdue for the 'red carpet' treatment. To be fully restored in sight and sound as never before, the package will also feature lots of bonus material - much of which has been located recently in an exhaustive search of film vaults and other band-associated archive facilities the world over. Exact release information will follow shortly with an official announcement.
Now lets just hope its in 5.1

Ten bucks says its just in stereo :frowning:

I saw parts of this concert on video and INXS rocks. This will be a "must buy" for me, stereo or surround.

Yeah, being a huge fan I'll be getting it too.

But it would sure be nice if it were to be in 5.1 :)

Is that bet $10CDN or American?:) I hope the disc is 5.1. I have the CD and enyoy spinning it quite often.
As for the question about the high-rise - if you have the money, mayor Bill will give you the building permit to build where ever you want:D

Just got my copy of this excellent live concert DVD from Amazon. Not only does it have DD 5.1, but it also has DTS. Live baby live!
