One certainly might call my thumbs-down opinion of non-OAR broadcasts on IFC "foolish" and "half-assed", but then we try to express disagreement without resorting to personal insults around here.

You're a big fan of their broadcasts; I am not. No need for the extraneous invective, Michael.

I was reminded of this thread yesterday when I noticed that IFC was running Don McKellar's film Last Night in letterbox. That puts IFC ahead of Universal, which released Last Night to DVD in a badly cropped 4:3 presentation.

I agree with Rich. If IFC can't show the film in OAR then it's best for them not to show that particular film at all.
