I'll take it you're joking Let me say that the bottle rocket scene was the hardest i've laughed at a movie theatre. Easy buy for me. Even thought the best Jackass scetch ever was on the tv show. It was called "Punt Return". Knoxville is wearing a Tennessee jersey and gets killed by a football team returning puts. After its over they play "Rocky Top". That will bring a tear to the eye.

Thanks for the review Ron. I cannot wait for this DVD. I am a huge Jackass fan and this DVD is a no-brainer for me. Loved it at the theater and I can't wait to see all the extra footage. That screen cap of the sand vagina is f**king hilarious.

Nobody has mentioned why I think Jackass is such a hit, so entertaining. It is human cartoons, literally. It is so similar to Wile E. Coyote, a walking time-bomb of a cartoon character. And yet, after every single one of his "accidents," he returns unscathed for another masochistic scene, just like the kids in Jackass.

Apparently, our minds process socially unacceptable behavior as funny -- that is, pie-in-the-face humor is funny because it's teaching us what NOT to do, and we receive the knowledge as humor, and our laughter is our understanding.

I certainly think Jackass is funny, although when I ponder it at all, I kinda get nauseous. I hope that no one in that group gets seriously hurt, burned, or paralyzed, or something.

Jeff, you're wrong on this one. All theatrical releases through Paramount Pictures, like this one (i.e. including MTV films) are handled by us, not MTV Home Entertainment.

Our policy is to load up special features on new releases like this and be highly selective with special features on the catalog titles. Sure, it's a bottom line issue.
