how to connect tv and dvd to a crt (1 Viewer)

what do i use to pick up tv and how do i connect it and a dvd to a crt ? i am going to use componant cables and use cable instead of a dish.

Larry: I'm not at all sure what you're asking. Your TV, assuming it's a non-exotic type (i.e., a plasma panel, LCD, DLP, LCoS, etc.) is a CRT (a cathode ray tube). Are you asking about the general procedure for connecting a DVD player to a television/monitor or to an audio system? JB

sorry i wasn't clear, i am building a ht and going to install a front projector, my question is how do i receive television [what picks it up and then how do i connect that componant and a dvd to the projector

Use a VCR as a TV tuner. Run your cable through that
