how to connect 7 speakers to avr 8000 (1 Viewer)

I have a friend that has a HK AVR 8000.I've researched and found that you need a 2channel amp to connect 7 speakers.
My question is what kind of amp do you guys reccomend and where do you connect it to the back of the avr 8000?

Any kind of amplifier will work, even an old stereo receiver. It will need to be connected to the main receiver’s pre outputs for the channels you wish to amplify with the extra speakers: Main L/R for a second zone, rear L/R for extra surround speakers, etc.
