I picked up last month from DeepDiscount for $24 "Hopalong Cassidy-The Complete Television Collection (52 episodes) w/bonus of 10 movies" which has a MSRP of $80. It's now $56 at Deep, $52 at DVDPlanet and $79 at Amazon.

Wow, these prints are great looking and a real joy to watch. Too bad some of the TV shows out now aren't as good as this set.

The 10 movies was an added bonus and if you're into him, there's another "Hopalong Cassidy Collection Edition" w/25 of his movies. I picked it up at Frys for $20.

Going to order "The Ultimate Hopalong Cassidy Collection" w/10 of his movies and only 3 are doubles from the top 2 packages.

That's 59 of the 66 movies he made...I'm still searching...

Also, there's 8 double features and one single feature out there by Image.

John, Platinum Disc Corp/Echobridge had 40 llicensed Hoppy movies out on eight volumes that did not repeat any of the movies on the Critic's Choice/Infinity sets (10 movies) or the 8 Image double features (16 movies).

So you can plug the holes in your Hoppy collection with them. You can order them thru amazon.com or bestbuy.com.

As Bob says, all 66 of the features have been released on DVD. I have 16 which were released by Image, 40 which were released by Platinum, and ten which were released by Critics' Choice. All but the Image titles are listed here:

That is a fantastic price for the Complete Television collection - I thought getting it at $40 was a steal.

If you can still find (or afford) the image releases they are magnificent.

And Mike is correct, the films are in fabulous shape. I was blown away at how good they looked when they were aired in Encore Westerns. The production values were quite high for the time, with extensive on-location filming.
