hooking up SACD/DVD-A (1 Viewer)

Thanks - I wasn't very clear. I've adjusted all of the speakers....what I mean to say is that there is no volume variance whatsoever. I can spin the volume dial to no effect. It's as if playback is set at -30db and I cannot change it.

Digital source works fine (DVDs) - volume is controlled by me/remote.

I am almost too embarrased to admit the resolution, as if to tattoo a NEWBIE on my forehead.

This morning I was trying to figure out where to plug the sub, since my sub is already plugged in..... that's when I realized that I had all of the analogs plugged into the pre-amp outs..... plugging them into the correct outs solved my problem. What a classic. Thanks to all for your help. This forum has been a lifesaver.
