I'm planning on makeing my own sub cable from coax. Should I use RG-59 or RG-6? What brand/type of RCA connector should I use? Will I need to purchase a special crimp tool?
If you just want one sub cable without buying a lot of tools, get a premade video RG-6 (or RG-59) cable and a couple of "F"-to-RCA adapters. It will work great.
I think im just going to drop the $130 in the tools, it will save me money in the long run. I may be able to recoupe the expenses makeing cables for others.
