I'm looking at moving up from a Klipsch RW-12D to a DEFINITIVE TECHNOLOGY SUPERCUBE I. The supercube has a high out connection that the Klispch doesn't have.

Currently I'm running a 5.1 system with the sub located in back right corner of the room. Back surround and lfe wires were pre-run before the remodel of my house.

I can't run new wires but could I pull a signal from the high outs to add a 6.1 back center? How would that sound if I could even do that?

Cheers,
Brandon

Side surrounds and back surrounds all have their own amps and channels (they are discrete). You have to plug your rear speaker in the receiver directly. All you will get by plugging it into the sub is low frequency sounds that are meant for the sub. Plus, if you already have the side surrounds mounted on the back wall, you will not get much benefit from the rear speaker.
