Has this Beatle film been released anamorphic and in dd? I see it on Amazon as full screen and in Dolby.

No widescreen release yet. I suspect the film was shot at 1.66:1 hard matte, and mostly projected at 1.85:1. I do not know if Disney/Mirimax owns this title as they do A HARD DAY'S NIGHT. The out of print MPI DVD, which is 1.33:1, is really very decent if you can find one - the colors are surprisingly rich and and image sharp as a tack. Some of the extras are good, too. Might be worth a purchase as an interim copy, until something better comes along.
