Can anyone tell me the right cable connections to get the OSD up and going. The manual is no help at all. I have a Hitachi 53uwx if that makes any diff. I have another post for this, on different thread. I'm getting a little inpatient, and annoyed with the Rotel.

Thanks for any help.

You can use either an S-Video cable or composite RCA video cable from the "Monitor Out" to one of the inputs on the back of your TV.

Then, using either your TV's remote or the RR-969 (if you've programmed it to control your TV) you'd select the corresponding Video input that you've selected for that connection.

From there, to get into the OSD you'd push "AUD" then "M" and you're all set.

I'll give that a try. It seems that I have done that before, but maybe I over looked something in my frustration.

Thanks for the help

For what it's worth, you can only use a composite connection to get the OSD for audio components, such as CD player -- at least for the initial setup.
