It would be a $100-$200 gift card for: Spa Nordstrom

Now, I know it may seem that I am taking the easy way out (buying a Gift Card... but I have also purchased a couple other things for her.

This would be for a woman that I recently started dating (3+ weeks) who loves shopping at the Nordtrom in Seattle.

I figured she would appreciate a Spa gift card (Nordstrom has a Spa here in Seattle), but the card is also good in the strore on regular purchases (clothes).

So, does this sound like a good idea? or do I stay away from the Gift cards alltogether?

Sounds great to me. It's really hard to give a gift to someone you've only been dating a short time so a gift certificate will allow her to get what she wants. At the same time, by giving it from her favorite store means you're at least paying attention enough to know where she likes to shop
