help..how do i hook up the digital audio? (1 Viewer)

i have a mits 55511 and a sony strde875. the sony has one digital audio input. My tv's digital audio is currently hoooked up to this.

But i want my dvd player to also be able to use the digital audio but have no inputs. How can i rectify this without buying a new receiver? the dvd player does not have optical outs either.

is it possible to get the mitsubishi tv to reroute the signal to the receiver?

I had a similar lack-of-input problem with my old Sony 27" TV a few years back. It only had one s-video input and I had 2 s-video sources. I ended up getting a little switch box at Radio Shack. Kind of a hassle since I had to walk over to it to switch back and forth, but it worked. I wouldn't be suprised if they make similar switch boxes for digital coax and optical connections.
