what resoulution does the osd for like dtv have. I want the new samsung direct tv hd set top box. But I am wondering wheater the channel menu is 480i or not. Reason being is my 1080i input on my tv will only take a 480p or 1080i source. So if the osd is 480i it wont display correctly. The same problem I had with the xbox dashboard.

Does the STB have conventional s-video or composite video that you use to hook into the HDTV set's s-video or composite input?
