Is this receiver worth it? You can get it for around $300 these days on ubid or ebay for the 500, and about $400 for the 510.
Someone told me that you couldnt have the sub work while you were listening to 2 channel stereo. Anyone know if this is true?
Anything I should know about this? I listen to music about 60% and movies 40.
Should I hold off and spend more money on say a Denon3801 for double the price?

The HK AVR510 is a great receiver -- I chose it over the Dennon and think the Logic 7 is a viable alternative to PLII. I also don't have room for a 6.1/7.1 setup, so it made the descision easier for me.
Sounds like a great deal, I got mine for $680, so I'd say pick it up. You won't be disapointed with it.
