I just added an amp to my system.

Now when I have the DVD player on I get a hissing sound coming from the 2 front speakers (these are the 2 which are powered by the new amp). The DVD player is a Denon DVD-1600.

When the DVD player is off - NO HISS.

What can I do to eliminate this? I can't go without a DVD player.

I've tried using high end power conditioners/surge protectors with no avail.

Anyone have any suggestions?

How do you have the power connected to the amp, receiver, and the dvd player? Are they all on the same power block? Also, what is the amp you added?

I have everything connected into the Monster Power 3600 HTS.

The amp is an Anthem MCA20.

Receiver is Pioneer Elite 53TX
Speakers are Polk Audio RTi10s
