I just got my Infocus 4805 in the mail from woot. I fired it up and displayed it on a blank off-white wall (not a good surface) at 110" with SD through S-vid. Wow! I can't wait to see some better content through better cables. Wow.

The rule of thumb is that you need to sit 2X screen distance. I'm trying to get a 90" screen. When I check out the viewing distance calculator at http://www.myhometheater.homestead.c...l#anchor_13194 it says I should be about 11 feet away for seating distance. Does that sound reasonable with the 4805?

I have a ton of other questions, but need to post a picture of the layout of my basement to get mounting options. How do I post a picture? Do I have to have a picture hosted somewhere? Can someone do that for me?

You're definitely in the zone - at 11 feet it's actually 1.85X screen width, but I'm sure it will be fine for you.

And you do need to have your photo hosted somewhere to post pics. Many people use photobucket.com. It's free.
