Good songs to test my sub (1 Viewer)

I just built a shiva sonotube and love it.

What are good songs to test it out.

I want ones that have tight bass as well as deep powerful bass.

Pick up a Bass Mekanik cd, they generally will push your woofer to its limit assuming your amp can. Just watch out for some distored tracks (very rare) and the ones that dip below 10Hz can sometimes do funny things to speakers. Those cd's usually dedicate the last 70 tracks to specific low frequency notes.

I always throw in "Vegas" by Crystal Method. It's kind of hyper electronic car commercial type music. The openning bars of "Cherry Twist", I believe have some really low freqs.

I just got the Blue Man Group CD. It has really good clean deep bass. I wan't to get the DVD-A version as soon as I can find it. I also like the Sting Brand new day CD, It has good bass but not as low or powerful as Blue Man.

AC/DC "Stiff Upper Lip" DVD sounds awesome in DTS, and has plenty of punchy bass....
