Godard's "Breathless" Coming from Criterion (1 Viewer)

Criterion's latest newsletter includes the following hint about an upcoming yet-to-be-announced title:

"Read all about it in the New York Herald Tribune: A New Wave Hits Criterion's Shores."

Clear indicator that Godard's "A Bout de Souffle" (a.k.a. "Breathless") should be on its way. Great stuff, as I didn't even know it was in the works.

Yep, "New York Herald Tribune" is closer to being the answer than it is to being a hint.

Although it's not surprising that Criterion's releasing this one, it's great to hear. It's a top notch title for the collection.

Would prefer the long rumored "Pierrot le fou", but this'll be a nice addition.

I'm also anxiously awaiting "Pierrot le fou", and I'm sure Criterion will be releasing it. Criterion likes to spread their big titles around.
