I was wondering how many people thought of getting a sammy dlp set to game on (considering there is no burn in) Not saying that would be your only reason for getting one but i wondered what it would be like hooking the ole pc up to the Sammy and playing some Half Life 2 on the s.o.b. I mean Half Life on a 43,46,50,56,or,61 incher cmon. Anyway i would like to know what you guy's think or if any of you guys who have a Sammy have tried pc gaming on it.

People who have tried it say it's wonderful.

But there IS a connection issue.

One of the component inputs ONLY takes 480p/i signals.

The other 2 component inputs ONLY take 720/1080.

If you have a mix of games that support 720, and others that only do 480 - the connections dictate what you can play or what resolutions you can play at.

Also note: people with PS DVD players have reported that sending INTERLACE to the Samsung DLP's produce a better picture than sending progressive. The Farijuda chip set only works on interlace inputs so this is credited with the superior picture quality.
