I was disappointed to read today that TNT is not making a second season of Saved despite good ratings. They think another doctor show with Treat Williams will hold more of The Closers viewers than an edgy and well made show about ambulance drivers.

They left a real messy cliffhanger too.

I'm relatively surprised by this move. I thought Saved was unique and pretty decent quality. I had thought it was considered so by a good number of viewers. Guess not!

It's a branding issue. TNT doesn't have another night to stick "Saved" on, and there's not a lot of crossover audience with the higher profile "The Closer."

And don't knock Treat.

That's too bad. I liked Saved just as well as The Closer. I am confused by the thread title. Maybe an admin. could change it to the correct cable network.
