Every once in a while, if you look closely while watching Futurama on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, you can see distortion and pixellation. Is this because they are using digital copies of the episodes, because they're using a program to artificially speed it up, or some other reason?

I'm watching it on cable. Every once in a while, if you look at their mouths when the characters talk, you can see the distortion.

Haven't noticed it, but it wouldn't make a difference really since I Tivo every episode on Medium quality. I'll look for it though, even if it's probably hard to tell apart from the regular Tivo artifacts.

I've gotten this too, through digital cable and regular cable. It's slight little things-like little blurs. I thought it was problems with the animation.
