I know I know Carl Weathers played football for San Diego State and the Oakland Raiders before going to the CFL ...

Freddy Kruger running in A Nightmare On Elm Street is very funny in one scene (when he's running down the alley) because it looks as if he has a piece of corn (or a whole corn cob) up his butt.
Most serious would be Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider. ouch.

For some reason I keep thinking of Dustin Hoffman running at the end of the Graduate. I'm gonna have to say that run is both the funniest and the most serious! Purely spectacular, to be sure.

Joan Allen in The Contender. She needs a running coach. They also show her shooting baskets in a gym which is like a tragic opera. She should stick to acting.
