I would just like to say this about Fox; They have

continued to bring very poor quality programs to television

and the worst is going to be repeated soon. That is the

"documentary" that says the U.S. never went to the moon.

IMO, this foundationless nonsense is a terrible slap

in the face to all those who participated in Apollo program

and especially those who died or almost died during the

time the Apollo program was run. Fox giving us more Pan

and Scan titles simply points out they are again catering

to the uneducated, and they are doing harm to the idea

of all broadcasting/movies going to high definition, WS

modes. While I appreciate the participation of someone

from FOX on a forum for it's informational value, the

    corporation deserves our scorn.

I'm lost - how exactly is this related to receivers, separates or amps?

Given that the reps that frequent here have NOTHING to do with the television network outside of DVD releases of previously aired shows, I think a phone call or snail mail letter (which I have done) is much more appropriate

Well, even if the people responsible aren't reading this, I'll still just vent that first the Fox network killed off many great independent TV stations, then brought the despicable practice of onscreen logos during shows to the U.S. airwaves (I'd been in Europe the year before Fox started doing this, and most of the networks there were already doing it- I thought Thank god they don't do that back home!)
