Flared Ports (1 Viewer)

I've had a bit of a search through the forums to try to find the answer to this one but with no luck !
Can somebody please help with this one ?
I am not satisfied with the PVC port that Im using on an EBS 142 litre shiva and have managed to locate here in OZ finally a 4"flared port, question is with flares on both ends what should the total lenght of the port be to tune to about 18hz ??

Take your current port length, and add one inch to that length. Then make that the total end-to-end length of the flared port kit.

For your example. To tune a 142 liter box to 18Hz, you'll need a 17" long 4" wide port. If your current PVC port is 17", then you should shoot for an end-to-end length of 18" for the flared port kit. You'll need to cut the center straight section of port so that the final length including the flared sections is 18".

Thanks Patrick, my current port is 4.25" wide by 20" long .
I will instal the new port at 17" long.

You need it to be 18" long from end to end.
