At last, at last, at last!
I've been waiting for this for more than 20 years -- according to this page, Firesign Theatre's mini-cult classic is finally going to be available on something other than multi-generational pirate bootlegs from eBay.
Looks like Vestron will distribute, the original ad art still exists, and -- according to this official Firesign page -- a commentary track has been recorded.
What I can't find is a release date, assuming one exists.
Anyone here have more info on this bit of wonderfulness?

This one needs a bump, as J-MEN FOREVER is a classic hoot! I would love to finally have a clean DVD copy, and retire my old betamax copy from a late night broadcast from "Night Flight" years ago. Have all of the copywrite issues been resolved, or did some of the clips need to be altered?

This is absolutely incredible news.
I suppose this means I can finally retire the VHS copy I made off of USA's "Night Flight" as a teenager.
My god, is that tape really 17 years old? Damn, I'm getting old.
"This is the bug, dug? Er, uh... dig"
"Our team of crappy crisp popovers..."
"Hey, aren't you Leonard Nimoy?"
"SHABOOM!!!"

I've had J-Men on order with Digital Eyes for about a month, now, and it's still "on order with manufacturer." Did they manufacture so few that it's OOP already???

My review should be going up very soon. It's definately out there.

You can order it through the Firesign Theater's website, but it may just not have been repressed
