I wasnt that impressed with the first episode. I only laughed maybe once or twice, and it was more of a chuckle. I wonder how the ratings will hold up for the next few episodes.

It's cheap enough for me to get the first season. The pilot wasn't amazing... but it was okay.

This has to be a record for a TV release. They've aired two episodes and already have an OFFICIAL announcement for it[IMG]

If I recall, there are only seven episodes of the series; so the release date is about a month after it concludes. I assume that Showtime is trying to piggyback on the PR that preceded the show's on-air launch. Probably a good idea, since the ratings tumbled after the pilot.

This past Friday, I was flipping through a newspaper and saw an article about Fat Actress, and they mentioned the ratings for the Pilot, and the 2nd episode. The pilot did a huge # around a million something, I cant recall was it was, but they said that the 2nd episode got two hundred something thousand, but when the repeat aired they got four hundred something thousand viewers for the repeat. I guess, its still a huge # for a showtime original.

OK, so ... why more for a repeat than the original airing?

Maybe because the first airing is on against CSI: Miami? Maybe...
