They made out a little better than us Yanks.
Is this the first AVC BD50, or have there been others? I hope the US version has the same specs.
Chicago had the same specs... avc via bd50
Anyone want to trade for Talladega Nights?
Didn't think so.
PS3 also costs relatively the same as the GDP of the entire European Union though.
Okay... it's around $830 for the 60GB version (the only version) but you catch my drift. So what I'm saying is that it's much better to get your $499 console, get your Will Ferrell on for free, and buy the disc separately if you're into the whole PS3 scene.
you forgot to add in the title that this was for europe
I am sorry TonyD, I hope admin can add EUROPE at the end of title...
hey it's cool.
i just have some envy for those euope folks who get this.
Yes it's very attractive!
Let's be careful, though.
It does NOT ship with the PS3, apparently, and I haven't found a site yet (including all Amazons in Europe) mentioning this offer.
According to the article, you'll receive the Casino Royale BD through Sony, after you register your PS3 with them. But personally I like to see it mentioned with the actual offer, as well as the exact conditions!
Oh, and the price isn't exactly "right" yet either: £ 425 (= $ 813) on the English Amazon, € 599 (= $ 779) on other European sites, for the 60 Gb PS3. And I'm even not sure if that includes VAT or not.
(Dollar prices I mentioned are based on £ 1.00 = € 1.47 and € 1.00 = $ 1.30, VAT = 19% but only to be payed by European buyers.)
I will check info next week with sony dealer here,....
other shop here mentioned that Casino Royale will be with PS3 already hmm,
that will be much better
you know I am not sure how many PS3s will be here on release day...
so maybe they can suprise us
I will post more info, if I will manage to get some.....
P.S. Thanx Cees for correcting title so some more people can envy us
Here's the Sony pr clicky
Despite the prices I hear the pre-order is going quite well.
